Fishing The Keeper Limit
July 28, 2018What a great day to be on the water. The ocean was like a lake. Started the day off shore for Sea Bass and Fluke. The bite was non stop and we caught the limit of Sea Bass in no time and then worked on the Fluke limit. The total for the day was 41 Sea Bass with 8 as the limit 35 Fluke with 5 Kept for the table 5 Sea Robbins 5 Dog fish and 3 Ling. Katie James is a full time Charter Boat that fishes 7 days a week. The best time to fish is mid week. The fishing traffic is less and the fish aren’t spooked.
Day of Fishing with Up Front Bait and Tackle
July 18, 2018Out with the crew from Up Front Bait and Tackle. Started the day in the back of the bay due to the wind. First drift Steve landed a 20″ Fluke and it was catch and release for most of the day with only one more 19″ fish out of 47 caught kept. The total was 47 Fluke 5 Dog fish and 4 Ray.
